This thread is primarily for lilmissshorty, but the rest of you may be interested to know. So, basically, I'll tell you what a hex number is.
A hex number is 6 digits assigned to a certain colour. For instance, FFCC11 is this colour. 5DFC0A is this color.
So, we have all these colours to choose from. You might have seen them if you try to create a skin because you'll need to choose the colours you want everything (there is a lil button you can push which displays a few hex colours but not much).
If you want to make a good skin (like, with more than a few shades of one colour), I'd recommend this chart here.
Anyway, hex codes are used very widely so it's good to know what they are.
I'll teach you a few codes just coz I'm bored.
This code is the one I use to change the colour of people's names. All I really have to do is type where it says, 'colorName('usernamehere','hexidecimalnumberhere'); and bang, we've got a coloured name.
Note. When using codes, write 'color' and not 'colour'.
Another codey.
You know how you can change the colour of your font by using the code
All I had to do then, you see, is just type and then as usual, the lil ending .
What else...
Ahh, this lil link Broken Coda form Coconuts Basket taught Co-chan... which I conveniently also took note of.
Ha ha... Merriam Webster Online. =3
To make these sort of hyperlinks (if you didn't know... which you probably do but oh well), there is a nice little code you can memorise. It's
Anything else you wanna know that I possibly could tell you, feel free to ask.
